MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov met with Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Mikhail Myatlikov and heads of the regional offices of the BelCCI on 31 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the main areas and forms of cooperation to develop foreign economic activities of Belarusian organizations and focused on practical steps to expand the presence of Belarusian exporters in foreign markets.
During the meeting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a joint action plan for foreign economic activities in 2025.
The parties intend to jointly organize visits of Belarusian business communities abroad, participate in the work of intergovernmental commissions on trade and economic cooperation, promote the institution of BelCCI representatives abroad, strengthen cooperation in exhibition and fair activities, and provide information, marketing and organizational support for the foreign economic sector.
Maksim Ryzhenkov believes that the document will help preserve a systematic approach to the promotion of Belarusian exports, primarily to the markets of distant countries.
