MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – Mogilev Oblast is preparing sites for the construction of mining farms, governor of Mogilev Oblast Anatoly Isachenko told journalists, BelTA learned.
“Mogilev Oblast has good electricity capacities, everything necessary to build data centers and mining farms. We received a green light [from the head of state]. We are preparing these sites, gearing up to hold tenders for construction investors,” Anatoly Isachenko said.

A project to build the first mining farm in the region is being implemented in Krichev District with the participation of Chinese investors. The cost of the first stage alone, which is to be commissioned in 2025, is Br190 million. Taking into account the existing energy infrastructure in the district, including the transformer substation, the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee has been working with the government on the construction of new such facilities.
