Twin town relationship will also contribute to closer ties. Kyrgyzstan suggests considering the possibility to conclude twin town agreements between Batken Region and Brest Oblast, Karakol and Brest. “The two regions have a lot in common. Batken Region is also a border region. We say that Kyrgyzstan begins with Batken, just as Belarus begins with Brest. I think that my colleagues and I will begin working on the text of this agreement. As the ambassador of Kyrgyzstan, I will propose specific deadlines for the implementation of certain activities,” the diplomat added. The document is designed to specify avenues of cooperation in trade, economy and humanitarian matters.
