SMOLEVICHI DISTRICT, 3 June (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov assessed progress in Belarus-Kazakhstan cooperation during his working meeting with Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, BelTA has learned.
“Relations with Belarus are of high priority for Kazakhstan. Thanks to the political will of the heads of state, our cooperation is expanding incrementally in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. As the head of government, I assure you that I am ready to make every effort to further increase the dynamics of our interaction. Belarus is an important trade and economic partner of Kazakhstan,” said Olzhas Bektenov.
It was noted during the meeting that bilateral trade exceeds $1 billion and it is likely to hit the $1.5 billion mark.
