MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – As part of a recent trip to Saga Prefecture, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Japan Ruslan Yesin met with Koichi Mori, Chairman of the region's leading industrial company Mori Iron Works, head of the chamber of commerce and industry of the city of Kashima, BelTA has learned.
Investment proposals and commercial offers of Belarusian companies, which are interested in joint projects to make automobile components and spare parts of vehicles, machines, and equipment, were presented during the meeting.
In particular, the Japanese businessman was made familiar with proposals of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone and the free economic zone (FEZ) Mogilev. The Belarusian diplomat outlined advantages of doing business in Belarus as a member state of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The ambassador was also made familiar with the operation of Kyushu Torishima Company – a major producer of pump equipment. It was noted during the meeting that Belarus offers favorable conditions for launching projects that involve foreign companies. The possibility of considering the relevant negotiations with Belarusian companies of the same kind was suggested.
