MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – In December 2020, the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 101.2% as against November 2020 and 107.4% as against December 2019, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
In December, the base index of consumer prices, which rules out changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, totaled 100.7% as against November 2020 and 107.1% as against December 2019.
Prices for foods went up by 1.6% from November 2020 and by 6.2% from December 2019.
Prices for non-foods increased by 0.4% from November 2020 and 8.1% from December 2019.
In December, prices for services rose 1.7% from November 2020 and 8.4% from December 2019.
