MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – In May 2022 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.7% as against April 2022 and 111.9% as against December 2021, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
In May the base index of consumer prices, which rules out changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, totaled 101.4% as against April 2022 and 112.2% as against December 2021.
Prices for foods went up by 1% from April 2022 and by 12.9% from December 2021.
Prices for non-foods rose by 1% from April 2022 and 14% from December 2021.
In May prices for services went up by 0.2% from April 2022 and 7.3% from December 2021.
