Inflation in Belarus at 0.5% in November

MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – In November 2021 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.5% as against October 2021 and 109% as against December 2020, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.

In November the base index of consumer prices, which rules out changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, totaled 100.7% as against October 2021 and 109.1% as against December 2020.

Prices for foods went up by 0.7% from September 2021 and by 10% from December 2020.

Prices for non-foods rose by 0.5% from October 2021 and 9.6% from December 2020.

In November prices for services inched up by 0.3% from October 2021 and 6.6% from December 2020.
