Inflation in Belarus at 0.5% in July

MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) – In July 2022 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.5% as against June 2022 and 113.7% as against December 2021, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.

In July the base index of consumer prices, which rules out changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, totaled 101.3% as against June 2022 and 115.5% as against December 2021.

In July prices for foods edged down by 0.2% from June 2022 and rose by 13.5% from December 2021.

Prices for non-foods rose by 1.1% from June 2022 and 17.2% from December 2021.

In July prices for services went up by 0.8% from June 2022 and 9.5% from December 2021.
