MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) - In November 2019 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.2% as against October 2019 and 104.2% as against December 2018, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
In November 2019 the base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.1% over October 2019 and 103.4% as against December 2018.
In November 2019 food prices rose by 0.5% from October 2019, and by 3.8% over December 2018.
In November non-food prices edged up by 0.1% over October 2019, and rose by 3.3% when compared with December 2018.
The index of consumer prices for services inched up by 0.2% in November over October 2019 and totaled 106% as against December 2018.
