MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – In August 2022 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.1% as against July 2022 and 113.8% as against December 2021, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
In August the base index of consumer prices, which rules out changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, totaled 101.1% as against July 2022 and 116.8% as against December 2021.
Prices for foods went up by 0.7% from July 2022 and by 12.7% from December 2021.
Prices for non-foods rose by 18.2% from July 2022 and 18.2% from December 2021.
In August prices for services went up by 0.3% from July 2022 and 9.9% from December 2021.
