ULAANBAATAR, 3 June (BelTA) – The advantages of Belarusian equipment include reliability, easy maintenance and more competitive repair services compared to similar foreign products, Belarusian Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“Our advantage is reliability, repair services, and easy maintenance of this equipment. Our most important advantage is that in terms of maintenance and service, our equipment is 3-4 times more competitive than imported products. It shows itself very well in difficult climatic conditions, including dust terrain, very hot or very cold weather, which is common for Mongolia,” the minister said.
He is confident that Belarusian products are able to compete with products made by other countries, including China. “I would not say that Chinese tractors or combines are better than ours in some way. Our products are competitive,” assured Aleksandr Rogozhnik.
In turn, Belarus’ Emergencies Minister Vadim Sinyavsky spoke about the supply of firefighting and rescue equipment. “There is an arrangement to sign a contract worth approximately €14.5 million. This is going to be a very important contract,” he said. “Our Mongolian counterparts received about €12 million worth of our equipment in 2020. And it is being successfully operated here, including in difficult conditions. They have recently reviewed the performance of this machinery and came to the conclusion that it was exceptionally effective in eliminating the emergency aftermath and damage prevention.”
