MOSCOW, 10 April (BelTA) – In January-February 2024, the industrial output in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) expanded by 6.6% year-on-year, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
“Industrial production growth was posted by all member states: 28.9% in Armenia, 7.8% in Kyrgyzstan, 7.1% in Belarus, 6.6% in Russia and 4.6 % in Kazakhstan,” noted the EEC.
The EAEU posted a 1.5% increase in the mining industry and quarry exploration, a 10.4% growth in the manufacturing sector, a 5.7% increase in electricity supply, gas, steam and air conditioning, and a 4.6% growth in water supply, sewerage, waste collection and distribution.
