MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) - Hungarian specialists praised the level of the personnel training system at the Belarusian nuclear power plant (BelNPP), BelTA learned from the nuclear power plant following the meeting of the Belarusian-Hungarian expert group on nuclear power, which took place on 1-3 October.
The meeting focused on topical issues of bilateral cooperation. Special attention was paid to the exchange of experience in the NPP personnel training. The Hungarian specialists studied the Belarusian system development practices and general principles of the BelNPP personnel training, visited the training center and a number of facilities of the nuclear power plant.
BelNPP Director General Sergei Bobovich held talks with the delegation, emphasizing the need for timely and quality personnel training, work with young people as a necessary condition to develop a promising personnel reserve.
The BelNPP director general informed the Hungarian delegation on the role of the nuclear power plant in the development of the region, creation of new jobs, increase in the number of young families, which testifies to the BelNPP’s contribution to the improvement of people's conditions.
