"Grodno Oblast is one of the agricultural leaders in the country. Over the last five years the regional agriculture has added 14%. The growth was over 7% in 2020 and 2% in Q1 2021. The region is the country's flagship in crop production, cereal yield, sugar beet, fodder," Ivan Krupko said. He also highlighted the high results in meat and milk production. It is important, he said, to continue the progressive development of the industry and increase efficiency.

"At the heart of everything is people, human resources. We need to preserve the foundations laid down by previous generations. Looking back at the good traditions of our region, we still need to move forward and embrace new innovations: modernization, diversification, changing the structure of the areas under crops," Yuri Valevaty shared his plans.

Ivan Shchuk, who previously held the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee, was honored for his many years of fruitful work. He was awarded the honorary title "Honored Agricultural Worker of the Republic of Belarus."
