MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) - Türkiye’s company acquired a land plot in the Belarus-China Great Stone industrial park, the park’s press service told BelTA.
A contract was signed on 28 May. It allows the park’s resident company BelTurMed (Türkiye) to purchase the land plot into private ownership. The company plans to launch a medical consumables production project, utilizing innovative technologies and automated quality control systems. The project aims to promote import substitution. The products will be supplied to the EAEU market.
The possibility to acquire land into private ownership is possible due to the special legal regime in the industrial park: it is the only area in Belarus where investors can purchase land to establish their own production facilities.
Expanding cooperation with Turkish businesses remains a key area for the park’s development. Representatives of the park actively participate in industry events in Türkiye and hold meetings with Turkish companies in Belarus.
