Great Stone Industrial Park welcomes 11 residents since start of 2025

MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) - Since the beginning of 2025 the Belarus-China industrial park Great Stone has welcomed 11 new residents, Head of the Administration of the Great Stone Industrial Park Aleksandr Yaroshenko said in an interview to the First News TV channel, BelTA has learned.

Thirty residents joined the park last year, the head of the administration said. “The trend is positive, and it keeps a good level this year. We have welcomed 11 residents this year. We are expanding the geography as well. We have a Turkish investor in the medical devices sector. In general, medicine is becoming an important priority for us. We are working, of course, with Russia and China. Belarusian investors are also among the most active today,” said Aleksandr Yaroshenko.

In his words, the park passes the Chinese experience to Belarusian enterprises first of all. “The fact that they believe in this project and come here to implement their projects is worth a lot. We are looking to have 170 residents by the end of the year. We need to reach this figure. In general, in the medium term, this figure should increase to 270 by 2030. We should set ourselves ambitious goals and strive to fulfill them,” Aleksandr Yaroshenko said.

Several clusters have formed in the park. For example, the most numerous one is in the field of research and development (R&D). “Our Chinese partners take a large share there. There is also an active presence of Chinese partners in mechanical engineering. Engines, gearboxes, construction machinery are all the competencies that are being developed in the Republic of Belarus, and this is exactly what we need, including for our machine building,” the head of the administration emphasized.

Out of the 152 Great Stone residents, 55 are making products and providing services. “This is quite a good figure given that 21 enterprises are under construction, and more than 50 are being designed. This shows very active development,” said Aleksandr Yaroshenko.
