MOSCOW, 21 May (BelTA) - Belarusian products are distinguished by high quality and standards, Governor of Russia’s Kemerovo Oblast Ilya Seredyuk told BelTA following a meeting with Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik in Moscow on 20 May.
"We see passenger vehicles, MAZ buses everywhere on the streets of our region. We made a wide use of Amkodor machines such as front-end loaders, graders, tractors, new equipment., and, of course, BelAZ dump trucks. BelAZ machines move rock, mine coal, and transport large volumes at all our coal mining enterprises. We are, let's say, a testing ground for new experimental dump trucks, including a 400-tonne dump truck with a new engine or other elements," the governor said.
He stated that the machines working in the region require service, so the second phase of the multi-brand center of Belarusian machinery will be launched here soon. "This is not just a center for sales, maintenance and repair, but also for advanced training of the employees operating this equipment - quarry, utility, automotive and agricultural machines," Governor Ilya Seredyuk noted.
"Belarus-made goods are valued for high quality and high standards," the governor stated.
"We all know the quality of food products from Belarus. Our housewives, when they come to a store and see a product from Belarus are sure that it is of high-quality, organic, healthy," the head of the region said.
