MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Belarus' Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has arrived in Azerbaijan for a working visit, BelTA has learned.
The visit is aimed to find ways to increase bilateral trade. According to Roman Golovchenko, it is necessary to build a good understanding of the situation and identify the points of growth. A number of bilateral documents are to be signed during the visit.
The two-day program of the trip includes meetings with the country's high-ranking officials, visits to Ganja Automotive Plant, the Interfood Azerbaijan and Caspian Agro international exhibitions as well as the Iglim research and production enterprise.
Taking part in the exhibitions will be Belarusian food producers, scientific companies, concerns, holding companies. The State Committee on Science and Technology will run the collective R&D section of the exposition. It will feature developments of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Belgospishcheprom food industry concern. Participants and visitors will see more than 60 domestic solutions in the field of food production.
In addition, a meeting of business people of Belarus and Azerbaijan is set to take place as part of the visit. There are plans to conduct B2B negotiations and sign contracts.
