MINSK, 21 June (BelTA) - Significant progress has been achieved in the digital transformation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk on 21 June, BelTA has learned.
“Digital transformation is a global trend. Yesterday we talked about considerable progress and a breakthrough in the implementation of the digital agenda in the EAEU. We will consider the EEC report today. I believe that we are on the right track. Now it is important to control the effectiveness of the project, the efficient use of the funds allocated from the EAEU budget,” said Roman Golovchenko.
In his words, the strategic areas of the Eurasian integration remain relevant. “However, given the changing situation, we must adapt this document to the evolving situation if necessary,” the prime minister added.
