
MINSK, 5 August (BelTA) - In July 2022 Belarusians sold $38.9 million worth of foreign currency more than they purchased, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In July 2022 individuals bought the equivalent of $779.2 million in cash and cashless forms and sold $818.1 million worth of foreign currency. In general, in January-July the net sale of foreign currency by individuals totaled by $ 443.6 million.
Based on the data of the National Bank, economic entities of Belarus sold $141.2 million worth of currency more than they bought. Legal entities of Belarus bought $2.169 billion worth of foreign currency and sold $2.31 billion in July 2022.
In January-July 2022 legal entities' purchases exceeded sales by $497.3 million.
