MINSK, 7 February (BelTA) - In January 2022 Belarusians sold $30.4 million worth of foreign currency more than they purchased, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In January 2022 individuals bought the equivalent of $832.5 million in cash and cashless forms and sold $862.9 million worth of foreign currency. The net sale of foreign currency by individuals totaled $30.4 million.
In January 2022 Belarusian economic entities sold $50.1 million worth of foreign currency more than purchased, according to the National Bank.
In January 2022 legal entities of Belarus bought $2.031 billion worth of foreign currency and sold $2.081 billion.
