MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) - In April 2022 Belarusians sold $116.5 million worth of foreign currency more than they purchased, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In April 2022 individuals bought the equivalent of $616.2 million in cash and cashless forms and sold $732.8 million worth of foreign currency. The net sale of foreign currency by individuals in January-April totaled $429.3 million.
In April 2022 Belarusian economic entities sold $154.2 million worth of foreign currency more than purchased, according to the National Bank. Legal entities of Belarus bought $2.013 billion worth of foreign currency and sold $2.167 billion.
In January-April 2022 legal entities' purchases exceeded sales by $327.3 million.
