MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) - In January-October 2021 Belarusians bought $54.7 million more than they sold, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In January-October 2021 individuals bought the equivalent of $8.842 billion in cash and cashless forms and sold $8.788 billion worth of foreign currency. The net purchase of foreign currency by individuals totaled $54.7 million.
In January-October 2021 Belarusian economic entities bought the equivalent of $21.300 billion and sold $22.165 billion worth of foreign currency. The net sale of foreign currency made up $865.2 million.
In January-October 2021 non-residents of Belarus bought $356.1 million worth of foreign currency and sold $854.7 million. The net sale reached $498.6 million.
