MINSK, 6 August (BelTA) - In January-July 2021 Belarusians bought $410.7 million worth of foreign currency more than they sold, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In January-July 2021 individuals bought the equivalent of $6,200.8 billion in cash and cashless forms and sold $5,790.1 billion worth of foreign currency. The net purchase of foreign currency by individuals totaled $410.7 million.
In January-July 2021 Belarusian economic entities bought the equivalent of $14,610.3 billion and sold $15,272.1 billion worth of foreign currency. The net purchase of foreign currency made up $661.8 million.
In January-July 2021 non-residents of Belarus bought $247.1 million worth of foreign currency and sold $559.2 million. The net purchase reached $312.1 million.
