MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) – The first all-electric house will be commissioned in Minsk in the second quarter of 2021, Deputy Chairman of the Construction and Investment Committee of the Minsk City Council Denis Nikitin told BelTA.
“Minsk's first residential house, where heating, cooking and hot water supply will be provided using electricity, is scheduled to be commissioned In Q2 2021. The 150-apartment house will be located in the Moskovsky District,” the deputy chairman of the committee said.
In his words, the construction of rental housing in Minsk is in full swing. At present there are two rental houses under construction. One of them, comprising 244 apartments, is scheduled for commissioning in March. “Last year we launched the construction of another rental house for 130 apartments. Plans are in place to commission it next year. This year we have also started designing a rental house that will be located in the Moskovsky District. We are working on a project that will determine the number of apartments and its commissioning date,” said Denis Nikitin.
