MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) - The heads of international departments of the State Control Committee of Belarus and the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India held an online working meeting to discuss the prospects of cooperation between the agencies in bilateral and multilateral formats, including within the framework of the SCO and BRICS, BelTA learned from the State Control Committee of Belarus.
The meeting focused on the implementation of previously reached agreements, including those related to the preparation and signing of a memorandum of understanding between the audit institutions of Belarus and India.
The parties exchanged information on current issues of auditing activities and international cooperation, as well as training and professional development for specialists.
The agreement to intensify cooperation between the audit institutions of Belarus and India was reached last year during a working meeting between First Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus Dmitry Basko and Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General of India Atreyee Das.
