MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – The free economic zone Minsk and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Smolensk Oblast have signed a cooperation agreement, BelTA learned from the press service of the FEZ Minsk.
The document was inked by Head of the FEZ Minsk administration Anatoly Buben and President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Smolensk Oblast Vladimir Arkhipenkov.
The document seeks to establish and facilitate business contacts, improve the business environment, promote products and services of domestic manufacturers in the markets of the Russian Federation and Belarus.
“It is very important today to strengthen interregional cooperation, and we are actively working to create a better environment for direct contacts and closer cooperation between Belarusian and Russian manufacturers,” noted Anatoly Buben.
The signing ceremony took place during the visit of the Smolensk delegation led by Smolensk Mayor Alexander Novikov to the FEZ Minsk administration. During the meeting, the Russian delegation was introduced to the investment potential and opportunities of the free economic zone Minsk.
