MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – Since the beginning of the year the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) has granted export loans worth nearly Br1.4 billion, BelTA learned from DBRB Chairman of the Board Aleksandr Yegorov.
According to Aleksandr Yegorov, in January-July 2022 the bank granted about Br3.7 billion in loans within the framework of government programs and investment projects. The bank granted export loans worth nearly Br1.4 billion in January-August 2022. The bank also granted over Br200 million in loans to small and medium private enterprises.
The bank's profit was close to Br185 million in January-July.
Aleksandr Yegorov noted: “On the whole, we expect the bank will hit this year's profit target and the money will be spent on financing government programs and export in 2023.”
