Eximgarant of Belarus to insure Development Bank's export risks

MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) - The Belarusian government has let Eximgarant of Belarus to conclude agreements with the Development Bank on voluntary risk insurance of non-repayment and delayed repayment of export loans. The corresponding Council of Ministers' resolution No. 114 of 25 February 2021 was officially published on the national legal internet portal, BelTA has learned.

The matter pertains export loans provided by the Development Bank to non-residents of Belarus – the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia and Russia's Stroy Center.

The Ministry of Finance of Mongolia was granted a loan for prepayment for products sold by MAZ – Managing Company of Belavtomaz Holding. The Russian company Stroy Center has been allocated loans to pay for works and services of Belarusian residents Promtechmontazh and Belstroytsentr, as well as to reimburse insurance premiums to the Development Bank under voluntary export risk insurance contracts with government support signed with Eximgarant of Belarus.

The document enters into force on the date of its adoption.
