MOSCOW, 17 March (BelTA) – The Eurasian Economic Commission supports the idea of setting up the Union of Insurers of the Eurasian Economic Union, Aide to the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Iya Malkina told a briefing for the press on 17 March, BelTA has learned.
"The commission advocates the development of a comprehensive dialogue with market participants and other stakeholders. In our opinion, the EAEU Insurers Union would be a good integration project and a platform for discussing pressing issues of integration and development of the insurance markets with professional market participants,” Iya Malkina noted.
In her opinion, it would also be a good platform to discuss such an important issue for the Eurasian Economic Union as the development of the common financial market in the insurance sector.
