Entrepreneurship support infrastructure seen as important for business growth in Belarus 

MINSK, 21 April (BelTA) - Well-developed entrepreneurship support infrastructure in Belarus contributes to the growth of small business, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry of Belarus.

At the beginning of the year there were over 100 entrepreneurship support centers and incubators in Belarus. More than a third of them operate in small and medium-sized towns and rural communities. In 2024, the infrastructure subjects provided more than 81,000 services and held about 2,700 thematic events.

The services were used by 71,800 people, of which more than half were entrepreneurs with more than a year of experience. Approximately 35,000 people participated in thematic events organized by the centers. Topics included the basics of entrepreneurial activity, financial literacy, changes in legislation, taxation, labor protection, innovations, export and other topical issues.

Incubators also made their contribution, having leased 26,800 square meters of space for 598 small businesses. These are organizations that work in manufacturing sector, construction industry, innovations and services.
