EEC Council to convene on 29 January

MOSCOW, 20 January (BelTA) – The first meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in 2021 is scheduled for 29 January, Aide to the Chairman of the EEC Board Iya Malkina told a press briefing on 20 January, BelTA has learned.

Iya Malkina outlined the agenda of the upcoming meeting. “For example, the agenda will include postponing the launch of the regulation on requirements for energy efficiency of power consuming devices,” she noted. “The EEC Council will also consider expanding the list of goods that can be imported to the EAEU without payment of customs duties and taxes if they fall under the temporary admission procedure. Russia suggested that this list should include sea vessels that are used in geological exploration,” Iya Malkina added.
