EAEU to launch Work Without Borders project in December 2020

MOSCOW, 28 October (BelTA) - The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) plans to launch the Work Without Borders information system in December 2020. The project will help citizens of the EAEU member states to find jobs within the union, Gegham Vardanyan, member of the Board (Minister) for Internal Markets, Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies of the Eurasian Economic Commission, told the media on the sidelines of the EAEU business forum “Integration: Strategy for Advanced Development”, BelTA has learned.

“The project is almost complete. It will give an opportunity to the citizens of the EAEU member states to see vacancies that are available in the EAEU, and employers - to see applicants. In fact, this is the unification of all databases,” Gegham Vardanyan said.

The EEC minister added that the system users will be protected against the disclosure or transfer of personal data. “The project is very important, especially now, in the period of pandemic, when there are difficulties with finding jobs,” he said.

“It is expected that the project will be launched in December 2020. The government bodies are already ready for its launch. The system has been tested,” the EEC minister said.
