EAEU industrial output up by 4.7% in January 2024

MOSCOW, 15 March (BelTA) - Industrial production in the Eurasian Economic Union rose by 4.7% in January 2024 over January 2023, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). 

"In January 2024, the industrial output in the Eurasian Economic Union went up by 4.7% from January 2023. The industrial production in Armenia surged by 21%, in Kyrgyzstan - by 16.5%, Belarus - by 5.4%, Russia - by 4.6% and Kazakhstan - by 3.4%," the EEC noted. 

“The mining and quarrying industry in the EAEU expanded by 0.7%, the manufacturing industry - by 7.5%, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning - by 4.9%, water supply, sewerage system, collection and distribution of waste - by 3.3%," the press service added.
