MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) - Belarus has received the first certificate on compliance with the Rules of Good Distribution Practice of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU GDP), BelTA learned the press service of the Healthcare Ministry.
The ceremony took place today at the Healthcare Ministry. Deputy Healthcare Minister Dmitry Cherednichenko presented the document to OOO Rubikon.
In 2021, the procedure of auditing pharmaceutical companies for compliance with the EAEU GDP rules was made mandatory. The pharmaceutical watchdog Gospharmnadzor is responsible for audits. In 2020, 65 inspection applications were filed, and 10 audits were already carried out.
Presenting the document to OOO Rubikon, Dmitry Cherednichenko noted that such monitoring aims to ensure the proper process of wholesale sale of medicines. "Passing such a test guarantees that the medicines manufactured by this producer are effective, high-quality, and safe," the deputy minister said.
