MINSK, 30 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian IT industry develops dynamically, BelTA learned from Belarusian First Deputy Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar.
The ministry's press service quoted the official as saying: “Today our country's IT industry is a dynamically developing branch. Its share in the GDP exceeds 7% and we see substantial potential for further growth. TIBO 2022 is a convenient discussion platform where results can be summed up and existing problems, ways of development and perfection in this sphere can be looked into. I am convinced that the events to be held within the framework of TIBO 2022 will give an opportunity to our colleagues, representatives of the expert community and the business community as well as foreign partners to find mutually beneficial solutions and move on with the agenda.”
According to the source, the Economy Ministry actively contributes to the digitization of the state and promotes the conversion of administrative procedures into the digital form. The Economy Ministry already grants access to a digital registry of licenses. “We will begin offering the relevant digital services concerning administrative procedures soon. Every year we arrange a business and practice conference on the smart industry. Many are interested in the matter now. This conference will take place within the framework of TIBO 2022. We've tried to invite as many Belarusian and foreign experts to the conference as possible for the sake of a productive dialogue,” Yuri Chebotar concluded.
The 28th international specialized expo TIBO 2022 will take place in Minsk on 6-10 June.
