MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – A large delegation of businessmen from Brest Oblast, Belarus led by Brest Oblast Vice Governor Dmitry Gorodetsky is in Bulgaria on a visit from 4 to 7 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Bulgaria.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation met with Burgas Region Governor Maria Neikova. The parties focused on the development of cooperation between the regions of the two countries in a wide range of areas with an emphasis on the intensification of trade and economic contacts. The parties also agreed to intensify cooperation in culture, tourism, sports and youth exchanges.
The Belarusian delegation will take part in the international economic forum Chirpan 2021 and will hold negotiations with the leaders of Plovdiv and Stara Zagora regions of Bulgaria and with the mayors of the towns.
Representatives of the Belarusian business will visit the enterprises of these regions and will discuss with the Bulgarian partners the establishment of mutually beneficial business cooperation.
