MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) has signed framework agreements on opening credit lines for Asaka Bank and Uzpromstroybank for the sake of financing the export of Belarusian goods to Uzbek customers, BelTA learned from the DBRB website.
The signing of these agreements will help realize the export potential of Belarusian companies in addition to bolstering Belarus-Uzbekistan trade and economic relations.
Asaka Bank is one of the largest commercial banks in Uzbekistan. It specializes in loans for small, medium, and large businesses.
Uzpromstroybank is a state-run bank that takes care of lending money for structural projects. The shareholders are the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek Finance Ministry.
