MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – Director General of Minsk Motor Plant (MMZ trademark) Aleksandr Botvinnik held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.
Aleksandr Botvinnik informed the Cuban diplomat on the plant's product line: diesel engines of different capacities and special-purpose machinery. Ambassador Santiago Perez Benitez paid special attention to the capabilities of Minsk Motor Plant and the products of other enterprises that make part of the holding company. In particular, pumping facilities and watering machines produced by the Gomel Starting Engines Plant are of great interest to the Cuban agriculture.
"Cooperation between Belarus and Cuba is strategically important. It contributes to strengthening the sovereignty of both countries. Belarusian technologies and best practices in the manufacturing industry can significantly increase the efficiency of the Cuban agricultural sector," the ambassador noted.
