MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) - A high-level Cuban delegation is expected to attend the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez told reporters, BelTA learned.
“A very high-level delegation from Cuba is expected to attend the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council,” Ambassador Santiago Perez Benitez said.
According to him, Minsk is a very important platform for Cuba. “All countries participating in the EAEU are friendly nations for Cuba, but Belarus is one of the brotherly countries,” the ambassador noted. “Our presidents have very good relations, they know each other; they meet on the margins of all events they participate in," he said.
