MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) – China will provide technical and financial assistance worth 300 million yuan to Belarus to implement development projects. This is envisaged by the agreement signed between the governments of Belarus and China that was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA has learned.
The document reads that the Chinese government will allocate technical and financial assistance in the amount of 300 million yuan for the following projects: “Introduction of information and communication technologies”, “Construction of the second residential rental complex on the premises of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone” and other projects in the field of development and assistance.
Belarusbank and the China Development Bank will jointly open interest-free and commission-free accounts in Chinese yuan in the name of the other party. The accounts will be maintained in accordance with the rules of the China Development Bank. The banks will regularly provide reports on the use of funds in the specified accounts.
