
MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) - A train with 55 containers departed from Beijing for Minsk on 15 May, marking the launch of regular rail service between the capitals of China and Belarus, the Xinhua news agency reported.
The shipment included 293 tonnes of auto parts and other goods produced in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The train will cross the China-Mongolia border at the Erenhot checkpoint and is expected to reach its destination in 15 days.
The new Beijing-Minsk route is expected to boost the global market presence of Chinese-made goods and enhance their international influence. It will also contribute to seamless trade among Belt and Road Initiative member countries, fostering economic prosperity.
