MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – The number of resident companies of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone has increased to 90 with the declared investment of $1.24 billion, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
“Since the beginning of 2022, the Great Stone industrial park has welcomed five new companies: Scientific and Technical Company Bel Samoyed Cloud LLC, Scientific and Technical Company YuTszyu LLC, HomeLand Group LLC, Cuby RND Ltd LLC, Transport Complex AF LLC. As a result, the number of resident companies registered with the park has increased to 90 with the declared investment of $1.24 billion,” the Economy Ministry said.
Despite the global economic uncertainty and the pandemic, in Q1 2022 the industrial park increased revenue from the sale of goods 1.8 times year-on-year (Br123.4 million). The industrial output of the resident companies rose 1.7 times (Br95.4 million), the export of goods went up 1.4 times ($22.6 million), investment in fixed assets increased 1.1 times (Br30.4 million). The average number of employees exceeded 2,000.
“Thus, the Great Stone industrial park remains an important point of growth for Belarus,” the Economy Ministry noted.
