China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone welcomes 30 new residents in 2024

MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) - Last year the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone registered 30 new resident companies, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.

The resident status was granted to companies with capital from Belarus, China, Israel, Russia and Germany with promising projects in integrated logistics, research and development (R&D), instrumentation, medicine, biotechnology, big data storage and processing.

A total of 144 residents are currently working in the industrial park. They plan to create over 15,500 new jobs. The declared investment volume amounted to $1.5 billion. More than 50 companies have started their business activities and are gradually reaching full capacity.

According to the Economy Ministry, in 2024 all key performance indicators of the industrial park's residents grew. Thus, the amount of paid taxes, fees and charges increased by 1.7 times, proceeds from product sales - by 1.4 times, output - by 1.2 times, export of goods rose by 13.6%, investment in fixed assets - by 7.1%. The net profit of enterprises exceeded Br100 million.

The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone is a high-tech international business site located 25 km away from Minsk. It features modern industrial architecture, accessible infrastructure and environmental solutions. The industrial park offers companies a site with ready-made manufacturing, engineering, transportation, customs and public and administrative infrastructure and provides significant tax preferences and a special business support system.
