MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich took part in the 127th Plenary Assembly of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES). The event was held in the format of a video conference, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Participants of the plenary assembly, including European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights Nicolas Schmit, EUROCHAMBRES President Christoph Leitl, and heads of about 40 chambers of commerce and industry, discussed the proposals of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry to be included in the EU roadmap for economic recovery in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
They also discussed the financial issues of the EUROCHAMBRES, the possibility of holding business events in autumn 2020 and approved amendments to the charter of the organization.
