MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) - Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai Andrei Andreyev took part in the Belarusian-Chinese forum on innovation and entrepreneurship "New tracks for the development of interstate entrepreneurship", BelTA correspondent learned from the Belarusian foreign mission in Shanghai.
The purpose of the event, which was opened by Chairman of the Belarusian State Science and Technology Committee Sergei Shlychkov, was to discuss practical issues of devising and operating joint innovation infrastructure projects in Belarus and China and programs to support youth innovative entrepreneurship.
In his speech, the consul general stressed the importance of studying and use of joint experience in the field of support and development of innovative business in order to ensure sustainable social and economic development of Belarus and China.
The forum was attended by heads and representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Committee for Science and Technology of Shanghai, Shanghai University, the Polytechnic Science and Technology Park at BNTU, the pilot zone of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Shanghai Science and Technology Park, the Science and Technology Park of Belarusian State University, other state, scientific and production organizations, and also universities of Belarus and China.
