MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) – A delegation of Serbian businessmen paid a visit to Belarus on 1-6 August, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Serbia.
The trip was organized with the assistance and support of the Belarusian diplomatic mission. The business delegation included executives and owners of Serbian companies interested in developing new areas of bilateral economic cooperation.
The negotiations were organized at the Industry Ministry to establish long term cooperation between the Belarusian and Serbian producers of metal products. In the course of business meetings with the management of Belarusian enterprises, agreements were reached to organize supplies of fertilizers from the Belarusian Potash Company (Elexir Group), wooden houses produced by the Newsprint Plant, construction materials from the Belarusian Cement Company (Ivprom company), tire products from Belshina (Yelnikom Nis company) to the Balkan region.
The parties also discussed the possibility of implementing a project for the production and supply of high-quality wines from Serbia to Belarus using the products of Belarusian Glass Company.
The guests from Serbia also got familiar with cultural sites and attractions of the capital and Belarusian regions.
