MINSK, 15 January (BelTA) – Business platforms of the World Expo 2020, which is scheduled to take place in Dubai on 1 October 2021 – 31 March 2022, can now be accessed by guests and participants of the expo, the press service of the National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The National Marketing Center will arrange a webinar on 19 January to present the online platforms before participants of the Belarusian exposition and exporters, who are interested in penetrating the market of the United Arab Emirates and the Persian Gulf countries.
The Expo 2020 Dubai Online Marketplace looks a lot like icetrade.by – the Internet version of the information system Tenders, which is designed to facilitate all kinds of tenders and purchases. Companies can use the Expo 2020 Dubai Online Marketplace to present information about what they do, what they want to buy or sell. The online marketplace can also be used to submit bids for a tender or arrange a tender online.
The Expo 2020 B2B App is a specialized social network for business communications between participants and visitors. It can be used to create an account of the company, personal pages of the company's personnel, post contact information, add up-to-date documents and files, and arrange online meetings thanks to video communications capabilities of the Expo 2020 B2B App platform.
These online platforms are already available. Registration is required to use their full potential.
The mobile app will be available for download in September 2021. It will be primarily intended for Expo 2020 Dubai visitors. In essence it will act as a navigator on the expo floor. Visitors will be able to use it to make a custom-made plan for visiting various pavilions of the nearly 200 countries participating in the expo. Visitors will be able to use the app to choose convenient routes, buy admission tickets, and select from the multitude of cafes and bars, thematic and entertainment events.
