Broad money supply in Belarus up by 6% in November

MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – As of 1 December 2021 the broad money supply in Belarus amounted to Br52.386 billion, up by 6% from 1 November, BelTA learned from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB). Broad money supply includes cash in circulation and bank accounts of individuals and corporations.

Cash in circulation dropped by 1.07% to Br4.515 billion in November.

Transferable deposits went up by 6.7% to Br6.767 billion.

The money supply in national terms amounted to Br21.633 billion, up by 3.69% in November.

The volume of national currency securities issued by banks (outside bank circulation) increased by 6.5% in November to Br1.638 billion.

As of 1 December the ruble money supply amounted to Br23.271 billion, up by 2.9% from 1 November.

The volume of foreign currency deposits rose by 8.95% to Br27.744 billion.
